Guard1

Guard1 is a proof-of-presence platform from TimeKeeping Systems. It records that staff have completed rounds and checks, using RFID tags and a handheld wand. It was first developed for correctional facilities and now also serves healthcare and commercial security.

What Guard1 offers

• The PIPE guard tour — a wand touched against a metal button on a wall to log a round.
• Electronic safety checks — mobile devices scan RFID tags or wristbands and keep a digital logbook.
• Staff and visitor duress — personal alarms for calling help.
• Individual and asset tracking — beacon tags give real-time locations.
• Vital-sign wristbands — heart rate monitoring for inmates.

Who it works with

Correctional agencies, behavioural healthcare facilities and commercial security teams.
