TableUp

TableUp was a Boston software company that gave restaurants guest engagement, loyalty and marketing tools, and more than 600 US restaurants used them. TouchBistro, which makes restaurant POS systems, announced in August 2020 that it had bought TableUp; the founder and team moved across and the technology became TouchBistro Loyalty. The old mytableup.com site no longer loads.

What TableUp offers

• Guest profiles — a CRM holding visit counts, average spend, order history and birthdays.
• Rewards — loyalty schemes based on spend or on specific items, with points added automatically at the TouchBistro POS.
• Online and in-venue — rewards that apply to dine-in orders and to TouchBistro Online Ordering.
• Marketing — guest data feeds TouchBistro Marketing, which sends targeted email and in-app messages.
• Customer web app — a restaurant-branded web app that lets diners collect points, spend them and see their balance.
• Reporting — reports on how rewards and the programme perform.

Who it works with

TouchBistro Loyalty is aimed at full-service restaurants, quick-service outlets and bars in the United States and Canada, excluding Québec.
