Pulpos

New· 4

Cloud software for small shops and businesses in Mexico that brings sales, inventory, electronic invoicing, online stores and manufacturing into one system, now part of Clip.

TrustList summary

A corner shop, a pharmacy or a stationery store in Mexico often juggles a cash register, a stock spreadsheet and a separate invoicing portal. Pulpos sells a web and mobile system meant to replace all three. Its home page says more than 12,000 businesses in Mexico use it, and a banner on that page states that Pulpos is now part of Clip.

Sell from a computer, tablet or phone, even offline

The point-of-sale side runs in the cloud on any device with a browser or the mobile app, with no installation. Cashiers can give discounts, sell on credit, print or share receipts over WhatsApp and close the cash drawer at the end of a shift, which the company says helps owners spot errors or theft quickly. Thermal printers, scales, cash drawers and barcode readers are supported, and the site says the register keeps selling if the internet drops and syncs afterward. Card payments can be taken through Clip terminals linked to the account, and a separate service lets shops sell mobile top-ups and bill payments.

Stock across branches, CFDI 4.0 invoices and an online catalog

Inventory is tracked in real time across several warehouses and branches, with purchases from suppliers, transfers between locations, variants such as size or color, batches with expiry dates, kits and low-stock alerts. Invoicing covers Mexico's CFDI 4.0 electronic invoices, payment complements, global invoices for the tax authority and self-invoicing, where customers generate their own invoice. The online store is a shareable catalog that draws on the same stock as the physical shop, takes orders over WhatsApp and accepts card payments through Mercado Pago. A manufacturing add-on tracks recipes, production orders and raw materials. Newer releases listed on its updates page include an AI assistant that answers questions about sales and inventory, and a configurable AI sales agent whose tone, knowledge and hand-off rules the owner sets.

Plans priced in pesos from 89 a month

Pricing is shown in Mexican pesos plus VAT, with a 14-day free trial and a discount for paying annually. Every plan allows unlimited users, products and sales, and the tiers differ mainly in monthly invoice allowance, branches and warehouses: the Starter plan lists 89 pesos a month on annual billing and the Pro plan 599 pesos. A separate invoicing-only plan costs 69 pesos a month on annual billing. Support is offered in Spanish by WhatsApp and email on weekdays and Saturdays.
