Legora builds Legora aOS, an agentic AI platform for legal work used by law firms and in-house teams for drafting, review, research and regulatory monitoring.
Legora is a legal technology company that builds a collaborative AI platform for lawyers. Founded in 2023, it launched its platform in October 2024 and calls it Legora aOS, "the agentic operating system for legal work": a layer that brings together language models, an agent framework, a firm's own documents and knowledge, legal capabilities and security controls, and puts them to work inside the tools lawyers already use.
At the centre is an agent that plans, carries out, reviews and delivers multi-step legal work. Around it Legora lists a set of products: Tabular Review for reviewing many documents at once, an Editor, add-ins for Word and Outlook, a mobile app, workflows, legal research, a client portal, skills, intake for incoming legal requests, and integrations. Monitors scan regulation around the world and flag changes that could affect a client or business, and Lists turn documents into organised, assignable pieces of work. Its site lists SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, ISO 42001 for its AI governance, and states that customer data is not used to train AI.
Legora sells to law firms of all sizes and to in-house legal teams, with solutions it names for M&A, litigation, banking, tax, insurance, private equity and the public sector. By its own figures in October 2026, more than 140,000 legal professionals at over 2,400 law firms and in-house teams in more than 80 markets use it, more than half of the AmLaw 50 are customers, and the US is its largest market.
