BinBooker

BinBooker makes cloud software that helps small roll-off dumpster rental firms take orders, plan routes and get paid. The company is based in Vancouver, Canada, and aims its tools at independent operators rather than national waste haulers, with customers running anything from two dumpsters to around 200.

What BinBooker offers

• Online booking — an ordering form that sits on the operator's own website, so homeowners can choose a size, see a price for their address and pay by card at any hour.
• Scheduling and routing — a calendar holding orders and customer details, where drop-offs and pickups are dragged into a sensible order for drivers, including from a phone.
• Cards on file — stored card details let the operator charge for extra rental days or weight overages in one step.
• Location-based pricing — different rates by zip code, so distant jobs and nearby ones can be priced differently.
• QuickBooks Online sync — customer and transaction records flow into QuickBooks Online automatically.
• Automatic emails — confirmations, receipts, delivery reminders and follow-ups go out without manual effort.

Who it works with

Its users are small and mid-sized roll-off dumpster companies. Named customers include Ellenwood Dumpsters, American Reclamation and Sam's Dumpster Rentals.
