Balsamiq Studios

Balsamiq Studios produces Balsamiq, a wireframing tool that keeps screens deliberately rough so that teams agree on structure before worrying about colours and styling. Founded in 2008 by a software engineer known as Peldi, the company is based in Bologna, has never raised outside funding, and runs as a small remote team spread over the US and Europe.
