Kaminashi raises ¥2.21bn Series C to link factory floor data to management
21 October 2026: Kaminashi, a Tokyo company which sells software for managing work, people and equipment on factory floors, in warehouses and in shops, has raised about ¥2.21 billion in a Series C led by Incubate Fund. The round takes its equity funding to about ¥6.1 billion, or more than ¥7.6 billion including borrowing, and pays for new products, a data integration business and a shared platform across its products.
Not yet independently verified. The round and the business figures rest on Kaminashi's own release; the amounts are approximate as the company gives them, and it states no valuation. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.
Who invested
Incubate Fund led through its IF Growth Fund No. 1, joined by new investors Artemis Ventures, NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Dai-ichi Life Insurance, Keio Rail Fund, T&D Innovation Fund, KRAFTIA Innovation Fund and YMFG Capital, and by existing investor Chiba Dojo Fund, for which it is a third investment in Kaminashi. The shares were issued by third-party allotment.
From checklists to a data hub
Founded in December 2016 under the mission of unlocking the talent of non-desk workers, Kaminashi built its products around the three things frontline managers track: work, people and equipment. Since its Series B in March 2023 it has grown from one product to five, and it says about 70% of recent new order value comes from customers buying several products together, and about half of monthly recurring revenue from multi-product customers. Its staff, it says, spent more than 3,300 days on customer sites between July 2025 and June 2026.
The round comes with a new concept it calls the Field Operations Hub: a relay point for data between the frontline and management, built on a shared account system it has been developing since 2023 so that data passes between products. Two launches carry it. Kaminashi Production Results, a product for recording production output, is due in November. Project Lux is a new service that combines data captured in Kaminashi with a customer's core system data to tackle management problems; its first engagement is with Kirin Group Logistics, which is linking inspection data with its safety data to reduce warehouse accidents.
What the money buys
Kaminashi lists four uses: developing new products starting with the production results tool, building the Project Lux team, developing the common platform that connects its products, and hiring for all three. The company is led by chief executive Hiroto Morooka and based in Kanda Kajicho, Chiyoda, Tokyo.
Our inspection software category lists nine products, our quality management software category 15 and our manufacturing execution software category four.
