Kaminashi raises ¥2.21bn Series C to link factory floor data to management
Incubate Fund leads the round for the Tokyo frontline software maker, taking its equity funding to about ¥6.1bn. A production results…
Kaminashi is a Tokyo software company whose products manage work, people and equipment on factory floors, in warehouses and in shops, and which now links that frontline data with companies' core systems.
Kaminashi is a Tokyo company that builds software for frontline operations in manufacturing, logistics and retail, with the stated mission of unlocking the talent of non-desk workers. Its products are organised around the three things frontline managers track: the work being done, the people doing it and the equipment they use. It raised about ¥2.21 billion in a Series C round in October 2026.
Kaminashi began with a single product and had five by October 2026, sold separately or together; the company says about 70% of recent new order value comes from customers buying several products as a set. Since 2023 it has built a shared account system so that data recorded in one product can be used in another. In October 2026 it announced a concept it calls the Field Operations Hub, a relay point for data between frontline teams and management, together with a new product for recording production results due in November 2026 and a service called Project Lux, which combines frontline data held in Kaminashi with a customer's core system data to address management problems.
Operators of factories, warehouses and shops in Japan. The first Project Lux customer is Kirin Group Logistics, which is linking inspection data with safety data to reduce warehouse accidents. Kaminashi says its staff spent more than 3,300 days on customer sites between July 2025 and June 2026.
