Sources in Vehicle factsThe Elroq is the smaller of Skoda's two core electric SUVs, below the Enyaq, and it is aimed at people who want a practical everyday electric car without stepping up to the bigger model. It was the first Skoda to fully adopt the Modern Solid design language and has won a Red Dot Award for product design, judged by 43 experts from 21 countries.
Battery size goes up to 82 kWh, and the Sportline trim is offered with either a 61 kWh or 82 kWh pack. DC charging is up to 165 kW. The 82 kWh battery in the 85x goes from 10 to 80 percent in 29 minutes, and the smaller version in 26 minutes or less. Battery preheating works automatically or on demand to protect charging performance in cold weather. A range figure is not given here because Skoda's page states two different numbers.
The boot holds 470 litres, expanding to 1,580 litres with the rear seats folded. Ground clearance is raised, and four-wheel drive is optional. LED Matrix beam headlights with an all-weather light function adapt to oncoming traffic. Three versions are listed: the Elroq, the Elroq RS and the Elroq Sportline, which adds a sportier design, modern technology and the latest driver assistance systems. Skoda does not name individual assistance systems on the global page.
Euro NCAP awarded the Elroq five stars in 2025. A phone can be paired with the car, and Digital Key, which lets you lock the car, open it and start it from a phone, is planned for a later software update. The Powerpass plan covers public charging.
