The Audi Q6 e-tron is a battery-electric SUV that Audi presents on its press pages as electric mobility on a new level. It is offered in several versions: the quattro with 285 kW, the SQ6 e-tron with 380 kW, and a rear-wheel-drive performance version with 240 kW. Each power figure includes the short-term boost from Launch Control. The car is 4,771 mm long, 1,939 mm wide without mirrors and 1,648 mm high, on a wheelbase of 2,899 mm.
The launch battery is a lithium-ion pack of 100 kWh gross, or 94.9 kWh net. Audi quotes a WLTP range of up to 625 km for the quattro, 641 km for the performance version and 598 km for the SQ6. The system works at 800 volts and accepts up to 270 kW on a direct-current charger, taking about 21 minutes to go from 10 to 80 percent. Audi says up to 255 km of range can be added in ten minutes under ideal conditions. Alternating-current charging is 11 kW at launch, with 22 kW planned as an option later. A smaller battery of 83 kWh gross was announced to follow the market launch.
The car uses Audi's E3 1.2 electronic architecture, and Audi states that software updates and upgrades can be installed over the air. Driver assistance is sold in Tech, Tech Pro and Tech Plus packages. Named functions include adaptive driving assistant plus, Emergency Assist, Park Assist plus, speed limit display and Active Front Assist with turn, evasion, emergency brake and front cross traffic functions. The myAudi app can be used to order digital light signature packages after purchase.
