Sources in Vehicle factsThe B05 is the sporty Leapmotor, an electric coupe with frameless doors and a wide-body stance, aimed at the driver who wants an electric car that looks different from the usual crossover. At 4.43 metres long it sits between the B03X and the B10 in size, with a 345 litre boot that grows to 1,400 litres with the rear seats folded.
Both versions produce 218 hp. The Pro has a 56.2 kWh battery, a quoted 401 km of WLTP range, a 0 to 100 km/h time of 7.5 seconds and 156 kW peak DC charging. The ProMax has a 67.1 kWh battery, 482 km (WLTP), 6.6 seconds to 100 km/h and 174 kW. Leapmotor lists a 30 to 80 percent fast charge of 16 minutes for the Pro and 18 minutes for the ProMax, and electric consumption of 14 kWh and 14.8 kWh per 100 km. A Launch Control mode is included for strong starts.
Both trims have a 14.6 inch central screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, a Bluetooth and NFC key, 19 inch alloys and automatic air conditioning. Design adds a panoramic sunroof, artificial leather seats, an electric driver seat, heated front seats and steering wheel, ambient lighting, rear privacy glass and a 12 speaker 7.1 channel sound system in place of the six speakers on Life. Up to 25 storage spaces are listed, and acoustic insulation keeps noise down.
Euro NCAP gave the B05 five stars in 2026. Seven airbags are fitted, and a 360 degree surround camera helps with parking. The car runs LEAP OS 4.0 with over-the-air updates, map-free city navigation and the Leapmotor App for remote control and as a digital key. The battery warranty is up to 8 years or 160,000 km.
