The Renault Scenic E-Tech electric is a five-seat family car 4.2 metres long. The United Kingdom page heads its main version as techno long range 220hp and also mentions an iconic esprit Alpine version with 20 inch wheels and an optional solarbay roof. The boot holds 545 litres, rising to 1,670 litres with the rear bench folded, and the page says the car is 89 percent recyclable. It has a heat pump and one-pedal driving with five braking levels.
The page gives a WLTP range of up to 392 miles, about 631 km, based on the techno version, and warns that real-world results will vary. Rapid charging needs a 150 kW charger on the public network, and with such a charger the battery goes from 15 percent to 80 percent in 28 minutes. The page does not state the battery capacity.
Driver assistance features named on the page are a 3D vision 360 camera, active driver assist and a driver attention monitoring system, within more than 30 safety features overall. The list of features includes a remote update of the openR link system. That system has Google built-in and offers over 100 apps, depending on the country. The My Renault app lets owners check range, pre-heat the car remotely, schedule charging and manage the vehicle from a phone.
The stated starting price is 33,245 pounds, including the 3,750 pound Electric Car Grant. The page also carries a note that the model pictured is not available for sale in the United Kingdom, so buyers should confirm the version on offer.
