What the Macan Electric is

The Macan Electric is Porsche's compact electric SUV, a four-door car with five seats. Porsche describes the styling as having coupe-like lines, a low front end and sporty proportions. The international page lists five variants for the 2027 model year: the Macan Electric, the Macan 4 Electric, the Macan 4S Electric, the Macan GTS and the Macan Turbo Electric.

Power and range

Output with overboost and launch control climbs from 265 kW (360 PS) in the entry car to 300 kW (408 PS) in the Macan 4, 380 kW (516 PS) in the 4S, 420 kW (571 PS) in the GTS and 470 kW (639 PS) in the Turbo. Top speed runs from 220 to 260 km/h. The combined WLTP range is 547 to 641 km for the entry car and 526 to 611 km for the Macan 4.

Battery and charging

The battery has a gross capacity of 100 kWh, and the page does not give a net figure. The car works on an 800-volt architecture and can charge on DC at up to 270 kW. A charge from 10 to 80 percent takes 21 minutes under optimal conditions. The high-voltage battery is covered worldwide for eight years or 160,000 km. Porsche guarantees 80 percent of net capacity for up to three years or 60,000 km, then at least 70 percent until the warranty ends.

Software and options
