Sources in Vehicle factsThe BE 6 is the sport-minded one of Mahindra's electric SUVs, built on the same electric platform as the XEV 9e and aimed at drivers who want something that looks and feels dynamic rather than a large luxury car. Mahindra sells it in India under the SPORTEQ name and introduced that version in August 2026. Mahindra describes it as a bold new expression of sport, technology and electric performance.
The top pack is a 79 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. Mahindra describes a three-in-one integrated powertrain producing up to 210 kW. Smaller packs of 59 kWh and 70 kWh are also listed. Fast charging takes the battery from 20 to 80 percent in under 20 minutes on a 175 kW charger. Charging away from home runs through partner networks, the Me4U app and Mahindra's own Charge_iN network.
Higher variants carry Level 2+ driver assistance built around a Mobileye EyeQ6 chip, an 8 megapixel camera and five radars. Mahindra lists adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, a 360-degree camera and an automatic parking function using 12 ultrasonic sensors. The infotainment runs on a Snapdragon 8295 chipset, and the car receives over-the-air updates. The Me4U app and a digital car key complete the connected features.
The BE 6 SPORTEQ starts at INR 19.45 lakh ex-showroom. Under Mahindra's battery-as-a-service plan the vehicle without the pack costs INR 11.45 lakh. The battery warranty is for life for the first private owner and runs for 10 years or 200,000 km for later owners. Special editions have included the Batman Edition and the Formula E Edition FE2, priced at INR 23.69 lakh.
