The Nissan Ariya is the company's electric crossover. Nissan's UK page presents it in two grades: Engage+ with a 63 kWh battery and Advance with an 87 kWh battery. Both are two-wheel drive. The page lists an on-the-road price from 35,500 pounds for the 63 kWh Engage+, a figure that includes VAT, road tax, the registration fee and a 1,500 pound Electric Car Grant. Paint and personalisation cost extra.
Nissan quotes up to 329 miles of WLTP range in its headline specifications, with the 63 kWh grade listed at up to 250 miles. DC charging is available at up to 130 kW. The page gives 0 to 80 percent in about 35 minutes for the 63 kWh battery and about 40 minutes for the 87 kWh battery. It does not state a 10 to 80 percent figure, so none is recorded here.
The UK page names ProPILOT Assist with Navi-Link, the Around View Monitor and Intelligent Blind Spot Warning and Intervention. Nissan stresses that these are aids and that the driver stays in control. Its wider driving technologies page explains that ProPILOT Assist with Navi-Link is for highways with physical barriers and needs the driver's eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.
The Ariya has a battery warranty of eight years or 100,000 miles on Nissan's UK warranty page for the MY22 and later models, with an optional service-activated extension on the MY26 car. The vehicle page itself mentions cover of up to six years or 100,000 miles when servicing with a Nissan dealer. Connected services are handled through the MyNISSAN app, and the Nissan Charge app is available for public charging.
