Forge and Smith

Forge and Smith is a web design and development agency in Vancouver that builds WordPress and Shopify sites and supports them with search, branding and marketing work. It takes on projects of different sizes, from pared-back help for small budgets or capable in-house teams through to fully custom builds, and has been doing this for over a decade.

Products and services

• Low-code WordPress development: custom sites built on a website builder plugin the agency wrote itself, used for every client site since late 2022 so clients can extend pages without a developer.
• Shopify store design: custom online store builds aimed at better branding, usability and sales.
• SEO and analytics: two search packages with custom reports, plus added guidance on content, social media or conversion.
• Branding: brand strategy work to shape how a business is seen.
• Paid search management: running and tuning advertising campaigns.
• Hosting and maintenance: backups, updates and upkeep so sites stay secure and fast.

Who it works with

Forge and Smith serves B2B, B2C, non-profit and small business clients in Canada, the US and elsewhere. Its case studies include BC Dairy, SISU, CRAFT Beer Market, Spark Mortgage, BCRPA and the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation.
