Derisk QA

Derisk QA is an American software testing company, owned by a military veteran, that runs quality assurance work from onshore facilities rather than sending it overseas. It positions itself as a domestic alternative to offshore outsourcing, with testers working in the same time zone as clients. The firm keeps a narrow focus on testing instead of spreading into general consulting or staffing.

Services

• Functional testing: manual and automated checks that software behaves as specified, the core of the business.
• Regression and exploratory testing: repeat and open-ended testing to catch faults after changes.
• Mobile testing: testing of applications on mobile devices.
• QA environment assessments: an independent review of a client's testing department, with a plan for improvement and staff training.
• SEO analysis and testing: checks on how a website performs in search.

Clients

The company has tested software for clients in healthcare, banking, insurance, e-commerce and retail. Its case studies include a large retailer, a post-acute care IT provider and a stock administration firm.
