Conure

Conure runs the technical side of corporate WordPress estates: hosting, security, updates and launches for businesses that operate several sites. It deliberately leaves design and site building to a client's creative agency and takes over once a build is ready to go live.

What Conure offers

• Managed hosting — WordPress hosting on WP Engine infrastructure, with separate production, staging and development environments for each site.
• Security and protection — round-the-clock uptime, DNS and SSL monitoring, a web application firewall, regular malware scans, intrusion detection and DDoS mitigation.
• Maintenance and support — core, theme and plugin updates tested on staging first, security patching, checks after updates and monthly reports.
• Content operations — day-to-day WordPress management for the client's sites.
• Accessibility compliance — work to keep sites meeting accessibility requirements.
• Migrations and launches — moving sites and standing by during launch windows.

Who it works with

Conure focuses on companies running roughly 5 to 40 WordPress sites, such as corporate, product and microsites and intranets, and on the creative agencies that design them. Higher support tiers include a one-hour response commitment.
