Kindling Creative

Kindling Creative is a marketing communications studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan, that has been operating since 2007. The firm creates materials such as brochures, logos, websites, newsletters and advertisements for its clients, and it describes itself as a small, deliberately compact business that draws on outside specialists for services beyond its core team, which helps keep its fees competitive. Julie, the studio's designer, has more than 30 years of graphic design experience, having worked in-house at an architecture and engineering firm in Chicago before joining a boutique design firm and later a marketing communications agency in Ann Arbor. She studied at the University of Michigan School of Art. Rachel, a writer at the studio, previously worked as a freelance writer and editor for organisations including the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and had earlier careers as a commercial litigation attorney and in a theatre programme.
