Top Advertising Companies for E-Commerce Development

E-commerce development is the engineering side of selling online: building the storefront and checkout, and integrating them with payments, stock, shipping, tax and whatever finance system the business already runs. It is distinct from e-commerce strategy or marketing, though many firms sell all of it.

Integration is where these projects succeed or fail. A storefront is a well-understood problem; connecting it to an existing warehouse, ERP or accounting system usually is not, and it is where the estimate moves. Ask specifically which integrations are in scope, whether they are off-the-shelf connectors or bespoke work, and who owns them when the upstream system changes its API.
