Provision

Provision is listed as dealership software for appraising and merchandising used cars, and it sits alongside vAuto, the inventory management suite from Cox Automotive. vAuto covers the whole life of new and used stock, from sourcing through to sale.

What Provision offers

• Appraisal — values vehicles using live market data rather than VIN and trim alone.
• Sourcing — a global search that brings auctions and trade-ins into one view.
• Pricing and stocking — uses market data to decide which cars to stock.
• Merchandising — presents vehicles to shoppers, with photo-led listings.
• Reconditioning — management and automation tools to get cars ready for sale sooner.
• Mobile use — inventory tools optimised for phones.

Who it works with

New and used car dealers. The vendor says over 14,000 dealers use its inventory products.
