Integrallis

Integrallis is an independent research and development lab, established in 2002, working on artificial intelligence infrastructure designed to run on hardware the client already controls, such as their own device, storage or process, rather than external cloud services. Its research spans five areas: power-efficient inference and small models, software-engineering questions around coding agents and agentic memory, work on shared model architectures, interfaces between humans and AI agents, and open-source foundations for running AI systems on the Java platform. The lab publishes its research findings, including the limits of what can run locally, and has released open-source projects under the Apache 2.0 licence. One product built from this research, Moobi, is a test-first application builder for Kotlin Multiplatform due to launch shortly. Integrallis also takes on a limited number of advisory engagements, though the page does not detail their scope.
