Hololabs

Hololabs Studio is an immersive-experience design and engineering studio based in Victoria, British Columbia. It combines creative design with real-time engineering to build interactive attractions, including dark rides and gamified ticketed experiences that integrate interactive media with show sets, ride systems and practical effects. Its work also spans location-based entertainment combining augmented reality, virtual reality, projection mapping and motion tracking, arena-scale multiplayer virtual-reality games, interactive projection walls that respond to motion and let guests interact through their phones, and sensor-driven gallery and museum exhibits designed for low-maintenance operation. The studio also takes on custom concepts and prototypes for ideas outside these categories, describing its approach as rapid prototyping followed by honest validation before full development.
