Datamart

Datamart, registered as Datamart Inc, supplies software engineers who work inside a client's own team rather than as a separate vendor. Sales and account management sit in Palo Alto, California, while the engineering staff are based in Pakistan. It began in 2011 and reports more than 150 projects since then.

What Datamart does

• Staff augmentation: vetted offshore engineers join the client's standups and chat tools, usually sharing four to six working hours with US teams.
• Product builds: creating a new software product from the ground up for firms without their own developers.
• Maintenance takeover: taking responsibility for keeping an existing product running and updated.

Who it works with

Its clients range from early startups and SaaS businesses to health platforms and big enterprises, mostly with US teams. Its longest client relationship has run for over five years.
