Appes

Appes is an app development team of engineers, designers and planners who turn app ideas into working products or add features to existing apps. The name is meant as apps plus evolution: it aims to build software that can grow with future needs, and it says it will point a client elsewhere if that suits them better.

What Appes offers

• Planning and discovery: working out the problem, whether a web or mobile app fits, the tech stack and how to scale.
• Solution design: comparing approaches, then deciding on architecture, technologies and costs.
• Iterative development: building in stages while keeping the client involved.
• Launch and maintenance: help with testing, release and long-term support.
• UX and performance work: redesigning existing platforms to improve use and retention.

Who it works with

Past projects include a social innovation platform for Babele, a guest services app for mobile and smart TV with in-room content, mobile check-in and QR door unlock, and a one-hour delivery app with order tracking and shipping provider selection.
