Squarespace Domains

Squarespace Domains is the domain registration service of Squarespace. Its page describes it as an ICANN-accredited registrar offering more than 400 domain extensions.

The page states that pricing is all-inclusive and that WHOIS privacy is free. It also positions the service as an option for customers who previously used Google Domains, the registrar service that was moved to Squarespace.

Customers register names and manage them from an online account, and can use them with a Squarespace website or point them at hosting elsewhere. Buyers should check the price for their chosen extension, the renewal terms, and what the all-inclusive pricing covers, before registering or transferring a name. It is also worth checking how DNS records are managed and whether transferring a name out later carries any restrictions or waiting period.
