Name.com

Name.com is an ICANN-accredited domain registrar that sells registration and transfer of domain names. Its website states that it offers more than 600 extensions and describes itself as part of Identity Digital, a domain name services company.

Beyond domains, its site lists several product groups. Cloud hosting is resold from DigitalOcean as basic Droplets, with plans from 1 GB memory, 1 vCPU and 25 GB SSD at $6 a month up to 16 GB memory, 8 vCPUs and 320 GB SSD at $96 a month, optional backups at extra cost, and one-click installs of WordPress, Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, FreeBSD and CentOS. WordPress and web hosting are listed on a separate comparison page that includes cPanel and server-management options. Email is offered through Titan Email and Google Workspace, websites through a Wix website builder, a link-in-bio page and a one-page site, and security through SSL certificates, SiteLock and Domain Safe Pro.

Compare first-year and renewal prices for the chosen extension, and what is included, such as WHOIS privacy, before registering.
