Jitsi

Jitsi is an open source video conferencing project for web and mobile. It lets people make calls, run the software on their own servers or build meetings into other applications.

What Jitsi offers

• Jitsi Meet — browser and mobile video meetings, including whiteboards.
• Meeting features — dial-in, call recording, screen sharing, password-protected rooms and talk-time statistics.
• Live streaming — conferences streamed to very large audiences through a tool called Jibri.
• Transcription — speech-to-text built on a newer architecture.
• Hosted service — the team behind Jitsi also runs it for customers as a managed offer.

Who it works with

It suits businesses of all sizes, developers who embed video, and organisations wanting control over their own hosting.
