Zane Venture Fund

Zane Venture Fund, also written Zane VC, is a health-focused venture firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. Its managing partner, Shila Nieves Burney, draws on two decades working in national health organisations, and the firm says it backs founders whose clinical background or personal health experience shapes the company they build.

The firm describes its thesis as moving care from reactive and episodic towards proactive and continuous, and it invests in the platforms and software that make prevention easier to access. It also runs Zane Access, an accelerator platform that it says vets more than 100 companies a year.
