TeamGenius

TeamGenius is an evaluation app for youth sports organisations. Coaches and evaluators rate players, record times and repetitions, and capture video and notes on a phone or tablet. The data syncs to the cloud in real time, which helps clubs form teams and publish leaderboards.

It replaces paper forms and spreadsheets, and the company describes itself as a youth sports technology business that also offers an at-home training app.

What TeamGenius offers

• Tryout evaluation — scoring sheets and check-in handled from a mobile device.
• Camps and mid-season reviews — flexible assessments beyond tryouts, including end-of-season feedback.
• Feedback reports — branded development reports that can be shared with players and parents.
• Coach and referee evaluation — the same platform can assess staff as well as athletes.
• Player history — saved evaluation data that tracks development and briefs new coaches.
• Imports — player lists brought in from a registration platform.
