Custom Intelligence LLC

Custom Intelligence LLC develops Backbone MRP, a production control and inventory platform for factories, with roots in plants in Elkhart, Indiana. The software links shop-floor and warehouse activity with customer orders, from quotation to invoice. It can run from the web or be hosted inside a plant, and has a native desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux.

What Custom Intelligence offers

• Order to invoice — order entry, shipments and invoicing, with a customer portal for orders, quotes and paperwork.
• Inventory tracking — running counts and on-hand stock by location to show what to buy and make.
• Purchasing — purchase orders generated from open orders and stock levels, plus receivers and vendor bills.
• Production scheduling — routings and schedules to get goods out on time.
• BOM-based quoting — quotes built from parts costs, with separate quoting BOMs and part templates.
• AI document entry — reading customer order PDFs and supplier paperwork using the client's own AI account.
