CorrosionRADAR

CorrosionRADAR supplies sensors and software that watch for corrosion hidden under pipe insulation. The firm is UK based and works mainly with operators in oil, gas and petrochemicals. Its aim is to let owners plan inspection and maintenance with live data instead of guesswork.

What CorrosionRADAR offers

• Flexible sensors — thin permanent sensors fitted beneath insulation that detect and locate corrosion and moisture.
• Wireless data collection — signals are sent back by WiFi, cellular or LoRa, depending on what the client chooses.
• Analytics software — a dashboard shows where moisture or corrosion is present and how far it extends.
• Predictive models — sensor readings feed forecasts of how corrosion will develop and can be linked to existing asset management systems.
• Layout options — sensors can run along pipes, wrap around vessels, form a mesh or follow a helical path.

Who it works with

Asset owners and operators in oil, gas and petrochemicals, on both older and new sites, including remote offshore facilities. The firm says it supports sites in 12 countries.
