bitcrowd GmbH

bitcrowd GmbH is a web application agency that works in an agile, test-driven way, mainly with Elixir, React, Go and Ruby. Its earlier site aimed at start-ups, offering to lay the technical foundations of a new product, rescue stalled projects and take on maintenance after launch. It says it starts up to ten applications every year and often stays responsible for them for years.

What bitcrowd GmbH offers

• Backend development — secure data processing and API integrations as the base of a web app.
• Frontend development — responsive, easy-to-use interfaces for web applications.
• AI and machine learning — adding AI services to products, including model selection, RAG and agentic systems.
• Product specification — turning early ideas into a focused, clearly defined product vision.
• Accessibility and design systems — removing barriers for users and introducing reusable design building blocks.
• Project rescue and extra capacity — steadying projects with falling quality or stalled releases, and adding hands for in-house teams.

Who it works with

The agency has long served start-ups from first concept to scale. Its site features a pick-up and drop-off locker project, Box – die Abholstation, built for Deutsche Bahn.
