Open-source remote access and support software (AGPL-3.0) for running on your own servers, with a paid Server Pro edition.
RustDesk is open-source remote access and remote support software. It is designed to run with the user's own servers rather than a vendor's cloud. It is published on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0 licence, and rustdesk.com is operated by Purslane Tech Pte. Ltd. of Singapore. RustDesk's documentation lists clients for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android and the web, and the web client can be hosted on the customer's own domain. Connections between devices use end-to-end encryption based on NaCl.
The free, open-source server covers self-hosting with online status and community support. The paid RustDesk Server Pro adds:
Organisations that must keep remote-access traffic and device data inside their own infrastructure are the main audience. RustDesk's own site pitches it as an alternative to TeamViewer, AnyDesk and Splashtop.
Pricing on RustDesk's page on 30 September 2026 (US dollars a month, billed annually; the page states this is a self-hosting licence, not a SaaS subscription):
An earned signal from verification, reviews, awards, transparency and engagement — the vendor can't buy it.
