Will social media survive the AI change? What the evidence says
Our overnight sample had no social referrers, while Meta's crawlers made 5.9% of page requests. Usage, labelling rules and the EU AI Act…
Trello organises work as boards, lists and cards — a visual kanban model that can be learned in minutes and adapted to almost any process, from software sprints to editorial calendars to personal task lists. It is part of the Atlassian product family.
Who it suits. Teams that want to get organised immediately without configuration overhead, and organisations where non-technical staff need to participate in project tracking alongside technical teams.
Notable characteristics. Its extensibility model (Power-Ups) lets boards connect to other tools and add capabilities such as calendars, automation and reporting, so teams can start simple and grow into more structure. A capable free tier has made it one of the most broadly adopted tools in the category — reflected in a review volume far above its peers.
Trade-off to weigh. The same simplicity that drives adoption becomes a constraint for teams needing dependency management, detailed workflow rules or portfolio-level reporting; those teams often graduate to Jira or a dedicated portfolio tool.
