Bettaway

Bettaway is a supply chain and logistics group with a history going back to 1960, when its founder made carbonated drinks in Brooklyn, New York. It now runs five separate companies that can work together as a closed-loop service. Its pallet business, Bettaway Pallet Systems, supplies, retrieves and repairs pallets across a national depot network.

What Bettaway offers

• Pallet management — supply, retrieval and tracking of white-wood pallets, plus rental pallets through a partnership formed in 2019.
• Managed services platform — category management that brings a client's pallet vendors under one programme.
• Transportation — its own fleets in the mid-Atlantic and Southern California, and a national third-party logistics network.
• Warehousing — a food-grade facility near New York for distribution, fulfilment and e-commerce.
• Supply chain consulting — advice drawn from its work as a service provider.
• Logistics software — dashboards, reporting and a mobile app for orders.
