An always-on agent in Mintlify that watches code, Slack, tickets and feature flags, drafts documentation updates and opens a pull request for a person to merge. Beta on Pro and Enterprise plans.
Not yet independently verified. Capabilities and credit pricing come from Mintlify's own announcement of 20 October 2026 and were not independently checked; the post does not say what a credit costs on each plan. We will update this when it can be confirmed, and remove this note.
Mintlify Autopilot is an agent that keeps a company's product documentation in step with the product. Mintlify, which hosts developer and product documentation, announced it on 20 October 2026 as a beta for customers on its Pro and Enterprise plans.
Autopilot watches the repositories and tools a documentation team connects to it: code repositories, Slack, the project tracker, support tickets and feature flags. When something happens that could make the docs wrong or incomplete, such as a code merge, a question that keeps coming up in support, or a mismatch someone flags in Slack, it reads the change and drafts an update to an existing page or a new page. It then opens a pull request, tags the team members who should review it and emails them. Nothing is published until a person on the team merges the pull request.
The agent learns the team's tone and release habits from the pull requests it sees reviewed, so the maker says no custom prompts are needed, and teams can also adjust its behaviour by talking to it. Mintlify says it will next learn from reviewers' edits before a merge and gain a dashboard.
It is aimed at teams whose documentation falls behind fast-moving products, and it differs from Mintlify's existing automations, which need a prompt written and maintained for each workflow. The two can run together; Mintlify suggests keeping translation as an automation and switching the others off.
