INFODIM was the first company founded in Greece (1991) with sole object the creation of “GIS applications” and one of the first in the field of spatial metadata development according to the INSPIRE directive and the international ISO metadata standards 199115 & 19139, the development of related applications with open-source software (FOSS) and online cartographic base maps.

Today INFODIM is undeniably one of the leading GIS companies in Greece and is the only member of the Northern Greece Informatics Companies Association concerning the GIS sector.

Since 1992 INFODIM has produced a large number of innovative GIS and spatial data management applications. Major clients are public agencies as well as agencies on the broader public sector and private entities. The GIS applications INFODIM has implemented include but are not limited to: a Property Tax Management Application (TAP) for almost 1.000 Municipalities of Greece, Fleet Management Applications (for the first time in Greece), Precision Agriculture Applications, Urban Planning Applications, Cadastral Applications, Environmental Monitoring Applications, Highway Management Applications, Forest Fire Protection Applications, Civil Protection Applications, Construction Management Applications, Real Estate Development Applications, Geoportal Applications, etc.

INFODIM features wide experience and expertise in the design, development, management, operation, and maintenance of ‘Enterprise’ information management systems, monitoring of spatial and descriptive data in projects based on Geographic Information Systems and the development of related applications and has implemented many relevant projects.
