Zenzap makes a business team chat app in which AI agents sit alongside people in group chats and carry out tasks by connecting to work tools.
Zenzap is a software company behind a work chat app that it positions as professional messaging built for business. Its site does not state where the company is based or when it was founded. On 14 October 2026 Lightspeed Venture Partners announced that it had led a $44 million Series A in the company, alongside Bessemer Venture Partners.
In Zenzap, teams and AI agents share group chats. Agents can be connected to a company's work tools and then take action instead of only answering questions. The site gives examples of automated work such as handling maintenance requests, onboarding employees, chasing invoices and routing sales leads. It says it offers more than 400 connectors, and that more than 15,000 agents are active on the platform. Sign-up is free to start with no credit card needed, and a separate pricing page covers paid plans.
The product is aimed at businesses of many kinds. Industries listed on the site include marketing, sales, HR, retail, healthcare, education, construction, food service, hospitality, wellness and fitness, franchising and non-profits. Zenzap says more than 10,000 teams use it each day. It displays GDPR, SOC, HIPAA and ISO badges and states that customer data is never used to train AI models.
Zenzap has three co-founders: Guy Weiss, chief executive, who previously founded and sold Stucco Media; Jonatan Bien, chief technology officer; and Noam Neumann, chief operating officer. Lightspeed says customers are in the US, UK and Australia, and that thousands of businesses use the app daily. The company says 60% of customers who enabled AI agents used them daily within two weeks, although the method is not described. The round was announced by Lightspeed in its own post.
