Whimsical

Whimsical, made by Whimsical, Inc., is a whiteboard tool for people who build products. Teams use its infinite canvas to sketch diagrams, map out flows, organise ideas and shape interfaces, keeping the thinking behind a product in one shared place. It runs in the browser and as desktop apps for macOS and Windows.

What Whimsical offers

• Boards and diagrams — an infinite canvas for flowcharts, diagrams and whiteboarding, with a template library.
• Mind maps — for expanding and sorting ideas before choosing a solution.
• Wireframes — screens for websites and phone apps assembled by dragging ready-made parts.
• AI generation — flowcharts, mind maps and wireframes drafted from a text prompt and then edited by hand.
• Collaboration — real-time editing, comments, embedded images and videos, and version history with restore.
• Integrations — Notion, Jira and Slack.
