Pigment SAS is a French software company that builds a cloud platform for business planning and performance management. Its founders, Eléonore Crespo and Romain Niccoli, who lead the company as co-CEOs, say they started it in 2019 to replace the patchwork of spreadsheets and separate planning tools that finance and operations teams rely on.

What it sells

The company has one platform, also called Pigment, used for budgeting and forecasting, financial statements and consolidation, revenue and sales planning, workforce planning, supply chain planning and ESG reporting. It runs on Pigment's own modelling engine, Graphite, and includes AI agents that build models and reports from plain-language requests. The registered office is at 8 rue Sainte-Cécile, 75009 Paris. Its careers page lists offices in Paris, London, Toronto, New York, San Francisco and Austin, and customer data can be hosted in Frankfurt or Oregon, or on a French sovereign cloud.

Customers and funding

Customers Pigment names on its site include Unilever, Danone, Siemens (through Hacon), Carta, Figma, Fivetran, Uber and Supercell. In its own newsroom Pigment reports a $73 million Series B (November 2021), an $88 million Series C (June 2023, bringing its stated total to $248 million) and a $145 million Series D led by ICONIQ Growth (April 2024).
