OnReference

OnReference is an India-based web service that turns professional references into a shareable report. The whole process runs online and is automated, and it serves three groups: organisations checking people before hiring, vendors pitching to new clients, and individuals applying for roles.

What OnReference offers

• Reference checks for organisations — automated checks on prospective employees, contractors and vendors during recruitment.
• Vendor reports — suppliers gather references from past clients to show potential buyers their record.
• Individual reports — professionals collect references from earlier work and share the resulting report when seeking new opportunities.
• Online process — requests, responses and reports are all handled on the web.

Who it works with

Employers hiring staff, contractors or suppliers, plus the vendors and individuals who want evidence of their past work.
