North.cloud, a Brooklyn company started in 2023, sells software that manages and automatically cuts spending on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, AI models and data platforms, and raised a $60 million Series B in October 2026.
North.cloud, which trades as North, is a New York software company that manages what businesses spend on cloud infrastructure, AI services and data platforms. Its chief executive, Matt Biringer, started it in 2023 after years selling data centre technology, and the first product launched that spring. The company describes itself as a financial operating system for cloud, AI and data. In October 2026 it announced a $60 million Series B led by PeakSpan Capital.
North connects to a customer's accounts on Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure and acts on the spending it finds rather than only reporting it. Its Autobot engine buys and ladders the discounted long-term commitments the cloud providers offer, so that coverage follows actual use. Other modules handle rightsizing, anomaly alerts, cost allocation through what it calls Coststreams, and a GreenOps module. TokenFlow tracks usage, attribution and budgets for AI models, with native integrations for OpenAI, Anthropic and Snowflake added in its third major version in August 2026. Noros, an AI FinOps agent, launched in April 2026.
The product is aimed at engineering and finance teams together, and North also offers it to resellers and managed service providers. Customers it names include AssemblyAI, Atlan, Tines, SnapLogic, Emplifi and Imply. The company says it works with hundreds of customers and wants to reach 2,000, and it offers a free trial alongside demos.
