Locustware

Locustware is a one-engineer web development business in West Texas, led by its founder and principal engineer, Cliff C., who has built web systems since 1996. It writes platforms from scratch instead of adapting templates, and much of its pitch targets firms whose previous developer left them with an unfinished or template-based site. Work can be done under NDA, and the firm keeps client names private, though references are available on request.

What Locustware offers

• Custom development — web platforms using JavaScript front ends, Python or Node on the server and PostgreSQL or Redis for data.
• Custom CMS — API-based content management with role-based access.
• System integration — connections to ERP, CRM and compliance software over REST or GraphQL.
• Project rescue — rebuilding sites that other developers left broken or incomplete.
• Support and hosting — ongoing maintenance plus dedicated managed hosting with DDoS protection and daily backups.
• Free tools — a site analyser that checks whether a website is really custom-built, and MailCheckr, which tests for email spoofing and deliverability problems.
