Videolinq

Videolinq is a Canadian company making enterprise media software that handles live video, captioning, translation and distribution. Rather than replacing a customer's existing broadcast or streaming systems, it adds a software layer that works alongside them, either on premises or in the cloud. Its focus is on enterprises, governments and media organisations, with uses such as government announcements, corporate communications and international conferences.

Services

• Workflow orchestration: coordination of media workflows, processing services and infrastructure through one layer.
• Live captions and subtitles: AI-generated captions and multilingual subtitles for live video, in more than 60 languages.
• Real-time translation: live translation, with optional human editing to improve accuracy.
• Distribution: sending one live stream to several destinations, including social media.
• Caption delivery: captions burned into the stream, supplied as separate sidecar files or displayed as overlays inside apps.
• Flexible deployment: installs in customer-controlled, private or cloud environments without tying the workflow to one provider.

Who it works with

Enterprises, public bodies and media groups, including organisations that need tightly governed or sovereign infrastructure.
