Lavu

Lavu is a restaurant point-of-sale company that now builds its products around an AI assistant called Marty. Each night Marty reviews sales, labour and void data and, before service the next morning, shows managers a prioritised card of recoverable cash and suggested fixes. The company is listed in the United States and says thousands of restaurants use it.

What Lavu does

• Marty AI: overnight analysis that flags actions such as trimming overlapping servers, restocking items that keep selling out and challenging supplier invoices above market rate.
• Restaurant operating system: the core platform that runs orders, stations and kitchen workflows.
• Customer engagement: automated offers designed to bring guests back.
• Payments: card processing with faster payouts.
• Payroll: payroll and compliance handled from the same system.
