Resaleworld

Resaleworld makes Liberty, a point-of-sale and inventory system for resale and consignment shops. Its newer Liberty Cloud edition runs the same software on hosted servers, so stores no longer maintain an in-store server or handle updates and backups themselves. The company is listed in the United States and says it has more than 30 years of experience in the resale trade.

What Resaleworld offers

• Liberty Cloud — the hosted Liberty system on a PC, Mac, laptop or tablet, with silent updates and encrypted nightly off-site backups, with no long-term contract.
• Client management — consignors, sellers and buyers held in one searchable account list.
• Inventory and payables — live item status, availability and amounts owed to consignors.
• Consignor payouts — payment by cheque or through ResaleWallet, which sends funds straight to a bank account.
• Reporting — built-in sales, tax and payment summaries that reconcile without exporting.
• Migration and support — help moving existing Liberty data to the cloud and support seven days a week.
