Jendev

Jendev is a Jersey software house focused on billing systems for utility companies. Its Jenworks product family runs on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and is shaped around small and medium-sized island utilities. The business is wholly owned by Jersey Electricity plc and has worked with the utility sector since the mid-1990s.

What Jendev offers

• Jenworks Billing — a utility billing engine developed over decades, now due a major upgrade.
• Jenworks CRM — customer relationship management for utility customers.
• Tailored configuration — the firm holds that billing software should adapt to the utility, not the reverse.
• Bill design advice — guidance on making bills easier for customers to understand.

Who it works with

Jendev supports electricity, water, telecoms, postal and local government operations. Clients it names include Jersey Electricity, Manx Utilities, Guernsey Water, Yorkshire Water and the Isle of Man Government for rates collection. It also works with strategic partners to extend its reach.
