Innovation Unplugged

Innovation Unplugged is an Industry 4.0 integrator that links operational technology on the shop floor with digital software. It belongs to the Cronos Group family of companies and works with that network of sister firms, customers and outside partners.

The company describes its core skill as designing, building, testing, deploying and running the digital connection to a client's physical equipment. It also guides clients through the wider move from ideas to day-to-day operation.

What Innovation Unplugged offers

• Ideation and design thinking — workshops that shape an idea before any build begins.
• APIs and microservices — development and ongoing management of the interfaces that join systems together.
• Operational technology integration — two-way connections with machinery and plant equipment.
• Production monitoring — a worker-effectiveness project built around digital work instructions, done with a client named Manual.to.
• Field support demonstrations — augmented-reality support shown at an industry trade event in 2019.

Who it works with

Industrial and manufacturing organisations that want their physical operations and software to work as one.
