Fyde

Fyde developed zero trust network access (ZTNA) software and was acquired by Barracuda Networks in 2020. Barracuda folded the technology into its CloudGen SASE platform, and Fyde co-founder Sinan Eren joined to lead its zero trust access work. The product is now sold as Barracuda CloudGen Access, and the old Fyde web address no longer hosts a site.

• Third-party access — access by role for outside contractors, partners, outsourced teams and freshly acquired subsidiaries, showing what their users and devices are doing.

• SaaS access — plugs into identity providers and adds device health checks and certificate-based sign-in to guard against attempts to get round MFA.
• Web security — filtering of malicious, inappropriate and unproductive web browsing for users wherever they work.
